Google八月揮別APK，改用Android App Bundle作為Play Store唯一格式

Google 已經拍板自 8 月起，以 Android App Bundle 取代現有的 APK 檔案；目前影響層面已開發者為主。

未來，開發者的輸出格式將改以 Android App Bundle 為主，這也是日後 Google Play Store 的專用上架格式，App 必須以此打包，才能上架。

根據 Google 說明，未來應用程式以 Android App Bundle 打包，能夠產生比 APK 較少 15% 的軟體尺寸，下載更加快速。新格式同樣屬於開源格式，支援包含 Unreal Engine、Unity、Android Studio、Gradle 等主要開發引擎。

搭配新格式的啟用，Google 另外建議開發者註冊 Play 應用程式簽署（Play App Signing），並在應用程式大小超過 150MB 的時候，啟用 Play Asset Delivery 與 Play Feature Delivery 優化發行內容。

Google 最早於 2020 年 11 月間宣布這項計劃，目前進一步揭露更多訊息，供開發者在最後一個月，萬全準備。

Google 另外預計在美國當地時間 7 月 12 日～13 日舉行的 Google for Games Developer Summit 2021 期間，針對遊戲開發者帶來更多說明。
